2017 FORTIS REBATES AND CREDITS
Have your natural gas furnace or boiler and fireplace serviced between September 18 and October 31, 2017, and you could qualify for a $25 rebate on each—one for your furnace or boiler and one for your fireplace—for a total rebate of $50.

Participating customers must be Kelowna homeowners (single family dwelling or duplex) who have lived in their home for more than a year and who purchase and install an eligible ecobee, Honeywell Lyric or Nest smart thermostat between September 1 and December 1, 2017
CONNECT TO GAS AND SAVE
Connect to Gas and save By connecting to natural gas, you can save energy and money while enjoying the cosy warmth your family needs. Natural gas is piped directly to your home, meaning no more oil storage tank, wood chopping or filling propane tanks, and you’ll have more options for additional natural gas appliances too.
You must be a new residential customer of FortisBC, and must apply for or receive a natural gas service line or (For Revelstoke-area customers only) a propane connection, between August 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017.
Replace your old furnace or boiler with an eligible ENERGY STAR® or equivalent model that’s 95 per cent efficient or higher for furnaces, and 94 per cent efficient or higher for boilers, and you could receive a $500 rebate. Note: you must pre-qualify for your rebate by December 31, 2017.
Replace your aging water heater with a qualifying natural gas ENERGY STAR model and you could save on energy costs, plus you’ll be eligible for a rebate of up to $1,000.
If it’s time to upgrade your electric water heater, consider a high-efficiency electric heat pump model and you could save on energy costs, plus you’ll be eligible for a rebate of $1,000.
You must purchase and install your heat pump water heater by December 31, 2017.
Stay comfortable and save energy by keeping your heat pump in top shape. Have it serviced and you could receive a $50 rebate from FortisBC. Have your heat pump serviced before December 31, 2017 and submit your rebate application within 60 days of your service invoice date.
If your home is electrically heated with an electric furnace, consider replacing it with an air source heat pump (central system). You could save on energy costs, plus you'll be eligible for a rebate of $1,200.
You must purchase and install your heat pump by December 31, 2017.
